What is the difference between Economy and Standard?
Economy is a modern compact or hybrid sedan — a Toyota Prius, Skoda Octavia or similar. Fully insured, professionally driven, clean and comfortable, and the right choice for an airport run under 45 minutes. Hybrid is standard, so it is also our cleanest tier. Standard is an executive Mercedes E-Class or equivalent, with leather, a quieter cabin, Wi-Fi included and a materially better ride on a longer drive. It costs roughly 200 SEK more on the Stockholm route. If you are unsure: Economy for airport to hotel, Standard for anything longer or where the arrival matters.
How old are the vehicles?
Standard class and above are capped at three years and replaced roughly every 30 to 36 months, so the average age in that tier sits near 18 months. Economy is capped at five years, a longer lifecycle that reflects the lower price, though those vehicles pass the same maintenance and inspection programme. The three-year cap at the executive tier is stricter than the Swedish private hire market generally runs, and we would rather be plain that Economy is a different commitment than pretend the whole fleet is identical.
Can I request a specific vehicle or driver?
Vehicle class requests are always honoured — that is what you choose at booking. A specific vehicle we cannot guarantee because of maintenance rotation, though we will try. Specific drivers yes, on request, and particularly worth asking for on multi-day work where the relationship matters. Once you have travelled with someone on our team you can ask for them again. For a first booking we match the driver to the journey on language, route familiarity and what you have told us about the trip.
How much luggage does each class actually take?
A practical guide rather than a brochure figure. Economy, Standard and First class take three large suitcases of about 75 cm plus two cabin bags — comfortable for two adults with full luggage, tight for three. First class van takes six large cases plus cabin bags. Minibus takes fourteen and is genuinely generous. Skis, snowboards, golf clubs, pushchairs and instrument cases should be declared at booking so we can size the vehicle rather than discover the problem at the kerb.
Are the vehicles equipped for Swedish winter?
Yes. Winter tyres are fitted across the fleet from 1 December to 31 March as Swedish law requires, and we keep them on longer when conditions justify it, particularly for runs north of Uppsala. Every vehicle carries a scraper and brush, and our drivers hold winter driving certification. In heavy snow we build extra time into the pickup rather than making it up on the E4.
Do you offer electric or hybrid vehicles?
Hybrid is standard in Economy, which makes it our cleanest tier by default. Standard and the first class van also have plug-in hybrid Mercedes options on request. For pure electric we run Mercedes EQ-series vehicles, available primarily for Arlanda transfers and city chauffeur work where range is not a constraint. For long runs into Dalarna or north toward Gävle we still recommend hybrid or diesel, because the charging network up there is not yet dense enough to promise otherwise.
Can I bring skis, golf clubs or oversized luggage?
Yes, and at no extra charge. What oversized items change is which vehicle we send. Skis, snowboards, golf bags, instrument cases and pushchairs all need declaring at booking, or you can simply book the first class van or minibus directly. A sedan takes three large cases and no more, so a family arriving with skis in a Standard booking is a problem we would rather solve a week early than at the kerb.
Can I travel with a pet?
Yes, as a paid add-on, and the pet must travel in a closed carrier. Any vehicle class can take one, but the carrier counts against your luggage — a large carrier plus three suitcases means the V-Class rather than a sedan, so tell us the carrier size at booking. Assistance dogs travel at no charge and do not need a carrier. Please declare them anyway so the driver knows before the day.
Do you have wheelchair-accessible vehicles?
No — we do not operate ramp or lift-equipped vehicles, and we would rather say that plainly than have you discover it at the terminal. A folding wheelchair or walking frame that stows in the boot is carried in any class at no charge, and the V-Class is the easiest vehicle to transfer into thanks to the sliding doors and low floor. For a fixed-frame or powered chair you need a specialist operator, and dispatch will point you to one on request.
What if our group is larger than fourteen?
We run a synchronised convoy. Two Sprinters carry up to 28; a Sprinter with a V-Class carries 20. Vehicles travel together with matching drivers and one routing plan, which is how conference arrivals spread across several flights, wedding parties and corporate retreats are usually handled. For 30 and above we can quote a full coach, though at that point the experience shifts from private hire to group travel.
